Near Field Communication and Tagging

Near field communication is new type of technology currently being introduced to the business market. Although not as popular as QR codes or other hot new technologies, what attracts businesses and companies to the NFC is that it has clear practical uses and clear potential. The main concept being the system is that it allows for payments to be made by phone when the phones are at close proximity. This ensures better security. NFC creates a new platform where people can buy things or make purchases. From basic manual transactions, to shopping on the internet, to shopping using your mobile phone, it is another way that is utilizing different technological advances within society to create better ways for consumer to be efficient as well as being able to work around their own schedule.

NFC Tagging

The electronic tag system is probably the biggest advantage that NFC has to other rival software systems that are similar in Nature. How this tagging system works is that NFC incorporates radio frequency tracking when it is processing transactions. Each Radio frequency wave sent from one phone to another is coded with its own electronic identification tag. This tag is unique to each mobile device. No two devices can have the same tag and each tag remains with the phone and cannot be changed. What the tagging system allows is for people to make payments using their mobile phone. This allows the software system to act as a mobile payment card embedded within the phone.
